Rules and Regulation:
♦   All Teaching, Non-teaching staff and Students of the college are the members of the
Library.
♦   All teaching staff including the Librarian are allowed to borrow a maximum of 10 books
from the library for 30 days.
♦   A Teacher can reissue a book for another thirty (30) days if he / she submits the book
on or before the stipulated time and if there is no such demand for the said book.
♦   A Non-Teaching Staff can borrow 4 (four) books at a time from the library for fifteen
(15) days.
♦  
Journals/Magazines are not issued for home use either to students or to any staff. These
are available only for reading in the Library.
♦  
In case of any grievances regarding the Library, the user can put complaint through
Online Grievances Feedback.
♦  
A fine of Rs.1.00 will be charged per book per day if not returned within the scheduled
time. This is applicable to the students and the staff alike.
♦  
Books once issued cannot be returned on the same day.
♦  
In case of the loss of Library book, the latest edition of the lost book is to be replaced to
the Library.
♦  
Decision will be taken by the Library Committee whether out of print books will be
issued or not.
♦  
User can take maximum two (2) books at a time for reading purpose and he / she has to
submit the book within 4.00 p.m. of the same day.
♦  
A maximum of two (2) books at a time will be issued to a student for fifteen (15) days
against the Library Card.
♦  
A book can be reissued by a student for another fifteen (15) days if he / she submits the
book within scheduled date and if there is no such demand for the said book.
♦  
A student can re-issue the book for maximum one (1) time.
♦  
Books lent out to the students are subject to be recalled at any time by the Librarian if and
when necessary.
♦  
Library Clearance will be provided to the students only after he/she has returned all the
borrowed books. No Marksheet will be issued unless library clearance is issued by the
library staff.
♦  
Library Card will be mandatory for obtaining Library Clearance.
♦  
Students can use the Internet solely for educational/academic purpose with the permission
of the Librarian. The students are not allowed to use any social networking sites, playing
games, etc.
♦  
No reference book will be issued for home use.
♦  
The casual students are not allowed to borrow books or to use Library Reading Room.
♦  
Loss of Library Cards must be reported to the Librarian as soon as possible in writing,
failing which the student concerned will be held responsible for all subsequent misuse of
the same.
♦  
A fine of Rs. 30/- will be charged for issuing a duplicate Library Card.
♦  
No student can enter into the Library without Library Card.
♦  
Complete discipline and silence must be maintained in the Library. Gossiping, spitting,
sleeping and using mobile phone shall be treated as cases of misconduct.
♦  
The Library Card is not transferable.
♦  
‘Library Card’ is compulsory for all enrolled students for availing of library facilities.
The library rules framed above are subject to change from time to time as and when Library
Committee deems it necessary to reframe the same.
